dig deep

October 3, 2012

The Montana Historical Society is utilizing a Kickstarter campaign to help fund publication of social historian Janet Finn’s Mining Childhood: Growing Up in Butte, 1900-1960. Looks like a cool project to me, a child’s-eye view of the upstream terminus of the Clark Fork watershed, and of the root cause of the river’s ongoing restoration. The Kickstarter clock runs out October 31. Should be plenty of time to raise $5,000. Here’s the link to the Kickstarter page.
