The Montana Standard‘s Francis Davis has a nice article today about Opportunity, Montana.

Texan Brad Tyer didn’t know what to expect when he showed up in Missoula in 2002 with two canoes strapped to the top of his truck and a hankering to test some “real rivers,” but he certainly didn’t expect to find one of the largest Environmental Protection Agency-designated Superfund sites running through his new hometown.

Not exactly a river runs through it, you might say.
